GRANDPOP POP

We used Grandad's favorite Margarita Mix watered down with pineapple juice to make the base.

However we added a very special ingredient.

Watch the video to see if you can figure out what the special popsicle ingredient is.

  1. oh my goodness!! i have so many questions!

    1) how did you put the lights in?!
    2) did you ever get shocked?
    3) are you sure it's safe?
    4) did you still eat it?
    5) was it yummy?
    6) did you have some margarita before coming up with this idea?

    1. 1) how did you put the lights in? I picked 3 wired consecutive lightbulbs and inserted them at different levels inside the empty mold around the stick. One socket was deep to get wet. Two sockets were above the fill line to remain dry. One of these failed.
      2) did you ever get shocked? No. Once frozen we plugged the string of lights in after saying " Clear".
      3) are you sure it's safe? No.
      4) did you still eat it? Yes, very carefully and unplugged for convenience.
      5) was it yummy? Definately.
      6) did you have some margarita before coming up with this idea? No. However the first try did not freeze enough because of the concentration of Tequila. We ate that one.
